Gojirox-CV Tablet is a fixed-dose combination antibiotic formulation designed to provide broad-spectrum antibacterial action against a wide range of bacterial infections, including those caused by β-lactamase–producing organisms. Cefuroxime, a second-generation cephalosporin antibiotic, works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, ultimately leading to bacterial death. It is effective against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. However, some bacteria produce β-lactamase enzymes that can deactivate cefuroxime. To overcome this resistance, Clavulanic Acid, a potent β-lactamase inhibitor, is combined with cefuroxime.
